Welcome to our short week! Remember: there is no school for students on Thursday and Friday this week (October 18-19). I'll be attending a literacy conference during our teacher convention time--I'm looking forward to learning and implementing some new strategies in reading and writing!
Family Fun Night is next Friday, October 26. We are still gathering items for our 'Sleepover Basket' for the silent auction. The basket will be on display next week, so please have all items to school by Monday! The money earned with the basket will go toward purchasing technology resources the Arrowhead students.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up on November 7 & 8. If you haven't send in the yellow 'preference' sheet, please do so ASAP. We are scheduling conferences after school this Wednesday, October 17.
Math: We are starting to work on multi-digit multiplication.
Reading: We are learning about new technologies and looking at the benefits and drawbacks of technology.
Writing: Students are finishing up their second narratives--ask your child to tell you or show you!
Social Studies: We are finally starting to learn about the MT Tribal Nations. Your student will be choosing a MT reservation to research.
Science: Students have been learning about MOLD and deterioration in science! Ask what they've done!
